FL Deschenes Construction was established in 1992. We specialize in residential construction on the North Shore. From additions and renovations to new construction, we make the process as smooth as possible.

We believe that having a good plan from the start will save you time and money.

We offer design-build services with our architect to create a drawing set for a cohesive team approach.

Fred and his crew are honest, organized, and talented craftsmen who do high quality work. As the GC, Fred was extremely easy to work with, kept all work moving at a good pace, and we always felt like the project was in good hands. They were respectful of the neighbors, and made a conscious effort to minimize the impact that their work and equipment might have on them. From the original estimate to the last nail set, we were very happy with all aspects of the construction. They transformed our house into a beautiful seaside home with a lot of curb appeal, exactly as we had envisioned it.

When I bought a house that needed a gut renovation, there was only one person I trusted to do the project. I never would have considered buying a home that needed that much work if I didn’t know Fred and his team were onboard. He coordinated all aspects of the job – from materials to scheduling to subcontractors. Every piece went smoothly. We had a few unexpected surprises along the way (who doesn’t when renovating an old house) and Fred kept everything on track. He’s a total pro on every level. I have been working with Fred since 1992. On our first project, he worked with our architect’s drawings to seamlessly build an addition to our 1800’s home. Subsequently, I have hired Fred for repeat projects over the years because of his attention to detail and his mastery of finish carpentry.
